On a mission to bring fresh pasta to the people of Cambridge, Fasta Pasta is the brainchild of best friends Rob and Isaac, who grew up in the region. The pair identified a gap in the market for ‘fast food’ pasta that was accessible and authentically made, deciding to make a business out of it in lockdown. In October 2020, the duo launched a range of ‘Finish at Home’ pasta kits, delivering delightful dishes (including beef shin ragu and classic carbonara) all around the city. For now, Fasta Pasta is focusing on pop-up events, such as this month’s residency at Cambridge Cookery, giving guests the full experience of an Italian feast – accompanied by excellent wines. Further down the line, ambitions include purchasing a truck and joining the street food scene in Cambridge, and maybe even opening a Fasta Pasta restaurant. Watch this space!
