On the menu on 9 March at the CambsCuisine-run establishment – a bona fide mark of quality on the local foodie scene – are canapés including duck egg profiteroles and potato rosti and beetroot jam, with crab cakes to follow for starters.

For your main, you can choose from guinea fowl supreme or sea trout and horseradish Wellington, with lemon meringue pie for dessert.
