Having released the first wave of acts, which takes place in Abbots Ripton, back in December, the organisers have just revealed the latest batch of artists who’ll be playing the event.
Known for their eclectically curated line-ups, gracing the stages this year will be enigmatic Australian ska and jazz band The Cat Empire, UK hip hop outfit Roots Manuva and brother and sister folk-blues duo Angus and Julia Stone.
Sure to please many, the pioneering Public Service Broadcasting, who combine captivating electronic soundscapes with vintage public service information samples to spectacular effect, will also be making an appearance, along with Palma Violets, Gentleman’s Dub Club and Bears Den.
Heading the bill are Mercury Prize nominees Jungle: the mysterious London based electro funk outfit who were one of the most talked about UK acts of last year. They’ll be joined by Secret Garden Party favourites Caravan Palace, who fuse jazz, gypsy and dance music to create energetic music that’s impossible not to dance to.
Also confirmed is Kate Tempest, winner of the Ted Hughes Poetry Award for her narrative poem, ‘Brand New Ancients,’ who will be performing her new poetry collection ‘Hold Your Own’ along with her current album.
Rising stars Jack Garratt and Marika Hackman will also play the festival, as well as Flyte, Iyes, Jagaara, Elder Island and Menace Beach.
