Epitomising our era of geek-cool, J. Willgoose Esq and Wrigglesworth, in their tweed suits, bow-ties and hipster specks, marry the best of past and future. They draw on samples from old public information films and layer them with elecronic pop, soul funk and Afrobeat, and are known for their dazzling live shows.
Launching their debut album in 2013, they’ve already proved a big hit at Glastonbury, Bestival and Green Man festivals, and supported the Rolling Stones.
This year, on the back of their second album, The Race For Space, PSB embark on their biggest-ever tour. It stops by Cambridge on 25 April, 7.30pm; tickets £21.
