This Christmas Etsy is leaving the virtual market to bring 13 locations around the UK a selection of local makers selling unique handmade items.
Etsy Made Local events will take place across the UK, with a flagship presence in London at Soho’s Vinyl Factory on 4, 5 and 6 December. They will be here in Cambridge at St Andrew Street Baptist Church from 2pm on 3 December until 5 December at 6:30pm. Community Programmes Manager Susannah Bradley is keen to focus on the fact that Christmas is not only a time when we are focused on finding unique and meaningful gifts, but ‘it is also a great opportunity to support the artists and designers in our local communities.’
From woolly hats to jewellery, beside personalised gifts there will be a charity tombola at £1 a go with all proceeds going to Blue Smile, a Cambridge charity working in the field of children’s mental health.
Etsy Made Local arrives in Cambridge at 2pm on Thursday 3 December. It will run thereafter of Friday 4 December and Saturday 5 December from 10am until 6:30pm. It will be held at St Andrews Street Baptist Church
