Eat, drink and chill out to tunes at the Gogs’ Sundowner Sessions
The latest in the series of Sundowner sessions at The Gog Farm Shop on 24 June provides the perfect way to start the weekend.
There will be chill-out tunes from a DJ plus food from the amazing Provenance Kitchen, and maybe, just maybe, a glorious sunset.
For starters you can select from wood fired asparagus yakitori, sea trout ceviche tostada or seared beef tataki. The main course options include dry aged flank steak, spiced suffolk lamb shoulder, wood fired miso sea trout, and okonomiyaki, which features peas, broad beans and a mint and radish salad.
There are two sittings, 5 to 7pm and 8 to 11pm and children are welcome at the first supper sitting (there are no specific facilities or entertainment for children, think traditional pub garden). Dogs are welcome if on a lead.
You have the option of buying a ticket in advance, to guarantee a seat in The Shack, or just turn up and grab a glass of fizz or craft beer and enjoy the evening al fresco.
Take an extra layer of clothing. Even if you’re sitting in The Shack, it gets chilly once the sun goes down.
