A supergroup formed by Mike Rutherford of Genesis in the mid 80s, Mike & The Mechanics won an army of fans for hits like Over My Shoulder, Silent Running (On Dangerous Ground), All I Need Is a Miracle, Word of Mouth and The Living Years. Joining Rutherford on the original line-up were Paul Carrack and Paul Young, but these days he’s got a new generation of Mechanics to roll with.
Catch him at the Corn Exchange performing with new members Andrew Roachford (whose previous hits include Cuddly Toy and Family Man) and Canadian-born singer, Tim Howar (Van Tramp) on vocals. They’ll be doing their thing on 8 March, tickets cost £35-£40.
