Starring a phenomenal line-up with the iconic HARRY HILL, Last Leg star JOSH WIDDICOMBE, multi-award winning SARA PASCOE, the inimitable DARA Ó BRIAIN, Scotland’s queen of comedy FERN BRADY, the legendary DYLAN MORAN, BAFTA nominee & stand-up master SIMON AMSTELL, German Comedy Ambassador HENNING WEHN, world beating SINDHU VEE, plus many more incredible acts.
Bonafide stand-up legends star alongside the fastest-rising talents such as Edinburgh Comedy Award nominees LINDSEY SANTORO and LOUISE YOUNG, Shetland’s MARJOLIEN ROBERSTON, superstar-in-the-making KEMAH BOB, the award-winning DAN TIERNAN plus many more stunning acts in this astounding series of mixed-bill shows.
Each show presents a compilation of the biggest names in stand-up in a beautiful fully-seated Big Top, combined with a top selection at the bars and delicious eats from local street-food heroes in a boutique-festival style setting.
This brand-new comedy spectacular is all set to take the city by storm, guaranteeing comedy fans from Cambridge and beyond a seriously good time in the heart of the city.
This is the latest venture from the sibling team behind a series of critically-acclaimed comedy festivals running each year across the UK.
For fifteen years Will Briggs and Cass Randolph of 57 Festivals have been delivering their signature blend of meticulous comedy programming in boutique-festival settings to sell-out crowds.
Their flagship Greenwich Comedy Festival has been entertaining the masses since 2009, welcoming over 15,000 ticket holders each year to the iconic National Maritime Museum. In 2011 they launched their Comedy Garden series, landing first in Bristol, followed by Brighton and St Albans, now Cambridge is set to ring out with laughter this July.
Cass says: “We’re thrilled to be adding Cambridge to the Comedy Garden family this year, we have an incredible programme set to light up the summer. Our shows guarantee an unbeatable night out, pairing the finest comedians around with amazing bars, street food and all the fun of a festival.”
