The 805th Midsummer Fair rolls into town at the end of the month: one of the oldest travelling fairs in the country. Whether white-knuckle rides or ‘hook a duck’ is more your thing, you’re sure to find something to get out of bed for.
The fair’s on Midsummer Common from 24 until 29 June and entry is free. See the website for opening times.
