Hot Numbers opens its doors at its Stapleford roastery
Fancy finding out the secrets behind the ideal cup of coffee? Hot Numbers’ roastery, which is in Stapleford, will be throwing open its doors on 11 November from 9am to 5pm.
There will be regular cupping sessions throughout the day to assess coffee quality and the team will help you understand the ethics surrounding the supply chain. You can meet the head roaster, who will be roasting batches of coffee in the 15kg Giesen roaster, while learning about the complex nature of coffee and the roast process. That includes the coffee grinder, which is as important as the coffee machine itself to creating the perfect taste.
Complimentary pizza will be served at lunchtime from the stone baked pizza oven in the orchard garden, and there will be copious amounts of free coffee.
The roastery is at Stapleford Granary, Bury Road, Stapleford. To help with catering numbers, email [email protected] indicating how many people you will be attending with.
