There’s a new dining experience coming to town in the shape of Stickies, a pop-up cafe from the co-owner of Stickybeaks cafe Lucy Robinson, together with her sister Emma. Promising to bring “a taste of city cafe culture to local villages”, there are events scheduled so far on 9 and 14 September, 12pm to 5pm, at All Saints’ Hall in Cottenham.

The menus promise inspiring salads with Middle Eastern influences, sandwiches, frittatas with different fillings and homemade sausage rolls, plus cakes, cookies and a nice selection of drinks. “There’s a great community cafe in the village, but there’s definitely room for something a bit different,” says Emma. “We miss the fresh and original food we served at Stickybeaks and so do our regulars and friends. We hope they will come and try Stickies in Cottenham.”
