Cycling enthusiasts in search of a new hub should check out Saffron Walden’s super-cool Bicicletta cafe. A great pit stop on a pedal around the Essex countryside, the cafe is a firm favourite amongst cycling groups and attracts riders from all over East Anglia. You can pick up fantastic brunches, cakes, and a range of lunch dishes including vegan mushroom tacos, plus coffee from The Coffee Officina. Bicicletta is also big on sourcing produce locally and supporting other independents in the area, recently hosting a pop-up series with Saffron Fish Co that offered diners a five-course fish tasting menu with beers from local breweries and wines from Joseph Barnes.
